Overview

We have a vacancy for a Procurement Asset Coordinator.

The position will be on a temporary basis, to cover maternity Leave for a period of 9-12 months.

The Procurement Asset Coordinator provides support to the local Asset Management team in maximising the utilisation of all rental assets and identifies opportunities to maximise company profitability through efficiencies and minimising cost for required external subrentals.

Qualifications

Previous experience working as part of a hire desk team or asset based role in the live events industry is prefferable.

Responsibilities

Overview of Duties and responsibilities required:

  • Asset Management
  • · Assist Market specific sectors in identifying the best use of assets the monitoring of the inventory management system and equipment bookings.
  • · Raise purchase orders using the inventory management system.
  • · Coordinate of Inbound and Outbound asset transfers and inter-company orders.
  • · Sub rental portal administration, including setting up quote folders, requests, compiling responses etc.
  • · Oversee equipment sub-rental, including monitoring of pricing within the market.
  • · Notify the Production and Planning Director of any equipment identified for disposal / sale.
  • · Keep up to date with the Company’s inventory.
  • · Consult with the Logistics team to ensure both cost effective movement of equipment and all required documentation is processed correctly.
  • · Create transport requests using the logistics portal.
  • · Follow up on missing Sub rental items.
  • · Assist colleagues with external repair administration (RMA’s).

Overview of Required Competencies:

  • · Good working knowledge of inventory control practices.
  • · Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and cope with a demanding workload.
  • · Have a sound understanding of financial decisions and outcomes.
  • · High degree of numeracy and literacy, with a disciplined approach to attention to detail.
  • · Excellent computer skills, including MS Teams, Word & Excel.
  • Health & Safety: Ability to maintain a safe, clean and hazard-free environment and understand and comply with the Company’s Health and Safety Rules. Ensure any issues are reported accordingly.
  • Communication: Ability to follow and constructively work alongside others as required, contributing towards team efficiency and the betterment of the business.
  • Attitude: A positive attitude gets the work done and motivates others to do the same without dwelling on the challenges that inevitably come up in the job. A positive attitude is something that is most valued by supervisors and co-workers, and that also makes the job more pleasant and fun to go to each day.
