Are you ready to join a pivotal team as a Payroll Assistant at Dunbia, a leading red meat processor known for supplying top-quality beef and lamb to markets worldwide? We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our Payroll Manager in managing the weekly payroll operations at our Cross Hands site.

Permanent and flexible on whether it’s a full-time or part-time position. Opportunity to work with a global leader in the meat processing industry. Be a key point of contact for payroll queries.

Responsibilities

As a Payroll Assistant, you will:

  • Process weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy of time and attendance records
  • Manage new starters and leavers, including inductions and processing relevant paperwork
  • Record and manage employee absences and holiday requests
  • Manage employee payroll queries in a timely and efficient manner in a fast-paced environment
  • Assist with general administration and support special projects as needed
Finance Administration Support

Initially there will be an opportunity to support the finance department to broaden your experience and understanding of the company. However, eventually the role will become Payroll full-time.

Qualifications

To excel as a Payroll Assistant, you should:

  • Previous experience in a busy payroll team
  • Be happy to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Be detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
  • Possess strong communication skills to handle payroll queries effectively
