This role will suit someone who is early on in their people management career with 3 years experience direct managing junior employees. For the right person, we will train on the data and technical side, making this a great opportunity to grow and kick start your career in software. We are looking for an experienced people team leader to manage and grow a Technical Data Operations team within an assigned workstream, ensuring high-quality product data is delivered across both new client implementations and ongoing BAU programmes.

You will take ownership of workstream planning, prioritisation, and delivery quality, ensuring effective resource allocation, effective escalation management, and consistent performance against SLAs. The ideal candidate brings strong people leadership experience and a proven track record of managing junior teams in a deadline-driven environment. While the work involves technical product data, the primary focus of this role is leading, developing, and supporting the team, strengthening operational processes, and ensuring delivery excellence across the workstream.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Technical Data Operations Analysts, providing coaching, performance management, and development support.
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of product data activities across BAU operations and new client implementations.
  • Collaborate with the Capacity Planning Manager to resolve prioritisation challenges and ensure timely delivery.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for operational issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution of risks.
  • Manage stakeholder communication, providing clear updates on delivery status, risks, and priorities.
  • Drive process improvements and operational initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and predictability.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a team management role, including direct people management.
  • Demonstrated experience coaching and developing teams, including performance management and capability progression.
  • Experience managing prioritisation, capacity planning, and delivery quality in an operational environment.
  • Strong operational planning and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage delivery risks and communicate trade-offs clearly to stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capability.
  • Experience using Excel (Pivot Tables / VLOOKUP’s).
Nice to Have
  • Degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working with global clients or multi-market delivery environments.
  • Experience supporting SaaS or data platform solutions.
  • Experience using operational reporting and metrics to forecast capacity or improve delivery performance.
