Role Purpose
A key member of the Grocery channel, assisting to deliver profitable growth and excellent execution within one of the Top 4 accounts, Tesco UK.
You will partner with key stakeholders internally and externally to support and lead the day to day operational and administration management of Tesco across 2 categories.
Role Scope
- Supporting the Morrisons team in the day-to-day operational and administration tasks.
- Manage the execution of promotions and activations.
- Build and share best practice across teams and peers.
- Own the field team briefings to ensure clear communication on key priorities.
- Being an active member of the Grocery team by supporting the team on a wider project and working collaboratively across all functions.
Key Activities
- Analytics
- Ownership of Super 7 KPIs to include Tesco invoicing matching and price claims process, ensuring this is done on time, accurately and in full each month.
- Ownership and delivery of EPOS performance and internal target tracking.
- Analysis of various data to share with the team and recommend action plans based from insight.
- Monthly forecasting, adjusting accordingly based on data and feedback from customers.
- Retail Execution
- Promo start date store visits to ensure excellent execution of our plans and competitor analysis feedback.
- Account lead with field team responsible for creating and delivering field team briefings to share key focus by month by category.
- To contribute to the building and execution of our format plans by category.
- Promotional and Price Management
- Completion of promotional nomination forms, updating calendars and pricing forms for all categories.
- Assisting with the analysis of promotional activities.
- Customer Engagement
- Leading on some direct customer specific projects e. g In store campaigns, sustainability and/or category events etc.
- Supporting with customer brand planning thinking and execution across all categories.
- Supporting with any customer queries, for example, supply communications and invoicing queries.
- Project Management
- Managing customer activations, (example innovation launches).
- Supporting the internal preparation/COA process for customer Joint Business Plans, Range Reviews as well as internal planning.
