ABOUT THE JOB
Working within the Hub team at Volkswagen Group
Wonderly is a leading owned-media agency, producing world-class content for global brands. On behalf of Volkswagen Group UK (VWG), we operate Hub, the main digital communication channel between its brands - including Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, CUPRA and Škoda - and its national network of dealers, retailers and repair centres. The Hub Editor will work at the heart of Volkswagen Group to deliver effective communications to its national network.
The Role
The Hub Editor is responsible for writing engaging content for and managing the website that keeps the people who work in Škoda’s national network up to date with all the latest news, updates, offers and incentives, so that they have all the information to excel at their jobs. Whether it’s the latest new car launch, sales offers or aftersales campaigns, they will need to produce streamlined and easy-to-read copy for the retailer audience.
The Hub Editor creates, edits and publishes news and reference articles spanning everything from the latest product launches and finance offers to minor specification and business updates. It’s a fast-moving corporate environment, where they’ll be expected to turn their hand to a variety of tasks, including writing, copy-editing and video production, and working day-to-day with our clients in Škoda.
Responsibilities

- Curate and send out the daily Hub newsletter using Mailchimp
- Manage Škoda brand projects from brief to completion - attend relevant meetings with stakeholders, advise on the best way for content to be presented, and brief the Hub editorial team to ensure content goes live on time
- Creating and editing video content for Hub when requested by the Škoda brand
- Come up with new ideas to boost site engagement and to excite the audience about new Škoda product launches or initiatives
- Manage relationships with Škoda stakeholders
- Monitor site performance and prepare regular Google Analytics reports to provide clients with valuable insights
Key Relationships
The Hub Editor will report to and work closely with the Senior Editor to manage editorial priorities, maintain quality standards and support the timely delivery of content.
The role will build trusted day-to-day relationships with Volkswagen Group stakeholders, taking briefs, advising on the most effective presentation of content and providing updates on delivery and site performance.
