Responsibilities

Position Purpose: As a Copywriter you will work closely with the marketing and creative teams to bring our business to life across all customer touchpoints.

Your creative talent will take advantage a full suite of marketing platforms, tools and resources to develop narratives and storytelling through compelling media.

You will play a key role with the rest of the creative team in developing engaging, high-quality content as well as digital campaigns that help to maximize revenues, increase retention and strengthen our brand in the marketplace.

Primary duties will include

  • Creative collaboration with stakeholders, copywriters, designers and videographers to produce best-in-class marketing materials including digital media, video and podcast content, social media content, website copy, email journeys and infographics.
  • Supporting department-wide initiatives with persuasive copy that motivates and inspires the audience to take action.
  • Providing customised messaging strategies and copy based on defined customer segments, shared knowledge of user behaviour, and best practice standards.
  • Collaborating with creative team members, product managers, and business owners to determine concepts and copy direction of branding and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborating with creative team leaders to facilitate continued evolution of the brand voice and messaging across all media formats.
  • Manage related design and development requests; help to proofread/test content prior to deployment/distribution.
  • Manage client communication approval processes to ensure communication meets business and compliance/legal objectives.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need

  • At least three years creative copywriting experience.
  • Experience writing in the financial industry desirable.
  • Solid technical content and copy creation experience within a digitally led marketing organisation.
  • Ability to translate a wide range and large volume of complex information into simple, accurate, clear, consistent and compelling messages for prospects, clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise effectively.
  • Ability to develop effective long-term working relationships both within the department & across departments and at all levels within the organisation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Education / Certification Requirements

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
