About the role

We are hiring a Content Manager to help shape powerful brand stories for some of our most high‑profile clients. Reporting into the Editorial & Innovation Director, this role sits at the heart of our editorial craft — blending sharp writing, thoughtful editing and strategic thinking. You’ll play a key role in turning client objectives into content that resonates, performs and evolves with the digital landscape. This is a hands‑on, collaborative role where your voice, judgement and creativity will genuinely matter.

What you’ll be doing

  • Shaping and contributing to editorial strategy by translating client business goals into clear, compelling content plans.
  • Writing, editing and proofreading high‑quality copy across blogs, landing pages, newsletters, playbooks and native editorial.
  • Interpreting briefs to identify client challenges and craft structured editorial that delivers on brand messaging and KPIs.
  • Supporting pitches, proposals and organic growth opportunities with creative, insight‑led editorial ideas.
  • Collaborating with the wider team in ideation sessions to develop campaign concepts and storytelling approaches.
  • Managing editorial workflows day to day, prioritising tasks and coordinating delivery to meet deadlines.
  • Building strong client relationships, leading status meetings, resolving issues and escalating thoughtfully when needed.

Skills we’re looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in copywriting and editing within an agency, in‑house or journalistic environment.
  • A strong grasp of editorial planning across long‑ and short‑form content, formats and industries.
  • A confident, adaptable writing style with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of how editorial content supports content marketing performance and client objectives.
  • Awareness of AI tools and conscientiousness around how, when and where they may be useful.
  • A balance of creative thinking and analytical judgement, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders, deadlines and priorities.
