The role supports the global production commercial function in achieving its goals with both internal and external stakeholders.

You will work closely with the Global Production commercial team, client service community, technology and operations teams to drive profitable growth through 1) innovative financial proposals for new and existing clients, 2) financial management and governance, and 3) strong stakeholder relationships.

Job Description

We're looking for a senior, hands‑on commercial finance leader with deep expertise in technology‑driven business models to lead the commercial strategy for Global Production's technology and platform offerings, with pricing and monetising AI as core parts of the remit.

This role owns the end‑to‑end commercial and financial framework for complex technology solutions, including Saa S‑like platforms, data products, automation, AI‑enabled services, and managed service models.

How we price AI specifically and how we charge clients for it sit at the centre of this.

This position goes beyond RFP support.

It's a strategic advisor and commercial architect role, shaping how Publicis Production prices, structures, governs, and scales its global technology and AI propositions—balancing growth, margin, risk, and long‑term sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Commercial Leadership – Technology & Platforms
  • Partner with the head of product Strategy to define and lead the global commercial strategy for technology enabled production solutions, including platforms, tools, automation and enabled production solutions, including platforms, tools, automation and data‑driven services.
  • Shape scalable pricing frameworks, commercial constructs and margin models that support global adoption and long‑term client partnerships.
  • Act as a senior commercial advisor to Global Production and Technology leadership on investment decisions, product roadmap trade‑offs and offs and market strategy.
  • Complex RFP / Deal Architecture
  • Own and lead the commercial and financial design of high‑value, multimarket, market, technology‑led RFPs and RFIs, ensuring competitive differentiation and commercial robustness.
  • Structure complex commercial models (managed services, platform licensing, consumption‑based pricing, hybrid models).
  • Partner closely with Legal to assess contractual structures, commercial risk, scalability and long‑term profitability.
  • Technology Cost & Investment Economics
  • Provide deep expertise in technology cost structures, including platform build versus buy, licensing, hosting, tooling, automation and data costs.
  • Develop robust business cases and ROI models to support technology investment, product development and global rollout decisions.
  • Ensure transparency and governance around cost allocation, cross‑market usage and value realisation.
  • Performance, Governance & Insight
  • Define and own global financial performance frameworks for technology initiatives, including KPIs, margin tracking, and value‑creation metrics.
  • Deliver clear, senior‑level financial insight and recommendations to executive stakeholders, translating complexity into actionable decision‑making.
  • Drive continuous improvement through win/loss analysis, commercial performance reviews and post‑implementation assessments.
  • Leadership & Cross‑Functional Influence
  • Act as a bridge between Finance, Technology, Product, Operations and Client teams, aligning commercial outcomes with operational reality.
  • Influence senior stakeholders across regions and disciplines without direct authority, establishing credibility as a trusted commercial leader.
  • Contribute to the development of global commercial standards, governance processes and capability uplift across the organisation.
  • Key skills
  • Significant senior level experience in commercial finance, within a technology level experience in commercial finance, ideally within technology‑led, Saa S‑platform‑led, platform‑based or digital service organisations.
  • Proven track record of leading complex, high‑value commercial deals and global RFPs.
  • Strong understanding of technology and platform economics, including pricing, margin management and scalability.
  • Advanced financial modeling and commercial structuring capability.
  • Extensive experience partnering with Legal on contracts, risk management and long‑term commercial frameworks.
