Short Intro and About the Job

To maintain a high standard of service to internal/external suppliers/customers with area of remit in the direct delivery model and develop relationships with the key stake holders.

To challenge performance & cost drivers in his/her area of responsibility and identify related gaps with the strategy, develops action plans accordingly.

To be a key member of a team to maintain 100% service level to production and to carry out material control and storage in a safe and controlled manner to world class standards.

To maintain a high level of stock accuracy of 99%.

Needs to understand multiple processes and technologies and be health and safety driven.

  • Main responsibilities & KPIs
  • Scheduling deliveries to Goods In and shipments to Supply Units and Direct Customers from Liverpool, including the loading and unloading of vehicles.
  • Inspection of goods, residue management, stock control and stock rotation to 99% accuracy using FEFO method
  • Correct sampling and labelling of goods
  • Material Issues to Production / Returns
  • Pallet control (Chep / plastics / one way), including transfers from wood to plastic pallets between Low to Medium Care
  • Using Manbar/Tekdan picking Transactions
  • Using MES for high care transactions
  • Receiving non-inventory items such as engineering parts, lab supplies, samples from suppliers through Goods In
  • Keeping the area clean and tidy including waste management control, through compliance with Damaway and 5S principles and completing Quality audits
  • Controlling the Goods Out area i. e.: controlling the air lock between medium care and low care
  • Loading of finished product and unloading of vehicles through Goods Out
  • Weekly PI checks
  • Control of outbound 3rd party
  • Kanban stock control system on non stockable items
  • Start/raise investigations through safety tags/engineering tags/Clio system
  • Be part of key warehouse improvement methods and tools (AM, D-GMP, FIT)
  • Controlling all rework pallets

  • Know and understands the Warehouse processes and is aware of related Dan Go (objectives, main steps, tools, organization & interfaces)
  • Understand the impact of his/her activity on the supply chain and Manufacturing and is aware of the main improvement levers of the SC processes
  • Is able to use the relevant enabling technologies
  • Knows the major interfaces in his/her activity within the manufacturing site
  • Is able to function as part of a fully autonomous team

  • Industry and Types of Companies: Manufacturing / Supply Chain/warehouse
  • Types of jobs: Performing in a high performance Team
  • Level at last job: G12
  • Functional competencies needed & technical skills
  • Trained and licensed to use MHE’s including, FLT, PPT.
  • Extensive knowledge & significant experience of the field.
  • Experience of working with ISO 14001
  • Experience of using the Manbar / Tekdan / SAP systems and PI checks.
  • Good understanding of 5S principles
  • Knowledge of high care transactions
  • Ability to understand pre-dispensing area and liase with dispensing team
  • Ability to control and put away raw materials, Bulk and Packaging in a safe manner
