As a Finance Graduate at our Liverpool Supply Point, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial performance and operational efficiency of a site with assets valued at approximately £75 million. Your primary mission will be to lead the digitalisation of the asset tagging process, ensuring full compliance and accuracy in asset management. You will also contribute to broader finance transformation initiatives, including digitalising management reporting and developing tools to track key business drivers.

Key accountabilities, deliverables & KPIs, impact on business results:

  • Deliver a fully operational asset tagging process, including:
    • Maintenance of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
    • Development of digital tool to support the process
    • Cleansing and reconciling the fixed asset register
    • Physical tagging and verification of all site assets
  • Support finance transformation projects:
    • Assist in digitalising management reporting
    • Contribute to the development of business driver tools
    • Provide support during annual budget cycles
  • Contribute to month-end processes, including:
    • Preparation of management accounts
    • Variance analysis
    • Working capital and balance sheet reporting

Stakeholders:

You will work closely with:

  • Internal: Finance team, Engineering team, Department Heads, Internal Control team, Site Management
  • External: Potential collaboration with external auditors or consultants during compliance checks
