Reporting to the Factory Operations Manager, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to assist in the effective and efficient running of the Lairage Department at Dunbia (Dungannon) Primary for Beef and Lamb processing.
Responsibilities
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Animal welfare within the Lairage department
- Processing paperwork and permits
- Completion of departmental audits and KPIs
- Electronic Quality Management System checks
- Managing Health and Safety within the Lairage
- Management of Safe Operating Procedures and Risk Assessment
- Organisation of staff
- Supervision of day-to-day duties associated with the Lairage
- Dealing with customers and audits
- Dealing with any day-to-day issues/ problems that may arise
Qualifications
The Person:
- Previous experience with beef and lamb animal handling is essential
- IT knowledge is essential for this role
