Job Purpose:
To support the HSE Manager in delivering world-class Health, Safety, Environmental, Energy and Sustainability performance across the site, ensuring legal compliance, continuous improvement, employee engagement and alignment with Danone and Alpro standards.
Key accountabilities, deliverables & KPIs, impact on business results:
- Lead delivery of key projects.
- Help maintain ISO 14001 management systems and legal compliance registers.
- Support environmental permitting, waste, energy and sustainability compliance requirements.
- Conduct audits, inspections and workplace assessments.
- Develop risk assessments, safe systems of work and operational procedures.
- Lead and support accident, incident and near-miss investigations.
- Coordinate HSE communications, campaigns and behavioral safety programs.
- Deliver HSE training, inductions and awareness initiatives.
- Monitor KPI performance and prepare management reports.
- Support sustainability, carbon, water, waste and energy reduction initiatives.

Qualifications:
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational H&S or equivalent (Essential).
- NEBOSH/IEMA Environmental Certificate or equivalent (Essential).
- ISO 45001 Internal Auditor (Desirable).
- ISO 14001 Internal Auditor (Desirable).
- Train the Trainer qualification (Desirable).
