Reporting to the Lead Accountant, an Integrated Beef Procurement Coordinator is required to support the processes related to calf procurement, movement, valuation, and sales within the integrated beef supply chain programme.
Responsibilities
- Onboard new farmers by issuing setup forms, logging contract details, and saving signed agreements.
- Log calf purchases and movements in the system and procurement files, including costs, weights, and rearer/finisher details.
- Maintain the stock valuation spreadsheet with financial data such as haulage, commission, margins, and rearer/finisher payments.
- Raise rearer and grower fees, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Process mortality events and issue credit notes using the approved templates.
- Update the calf sales spreadsheet to support invoice creation and ensure timely movement records.
- Assist with the completion and circulation of weekly and monthly stock reconciliations.
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to ensure smooth data flow and compliance across systems.
Qualifications
We require the Integrated Beef Procurement Coordinator to be adaptable and collaborative, with the ability to learn and support a range of tasks across livestock, procurement, and finance systems. This includes providing cover for colleagues during holidays and busy periods to ensure continuity of operations.
