We are actively seeking a Class 1 Shunter Driver /Yard Person keen to take up a career within one of Europe’s leading food processing companies. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team and learn new skills and gain new opportunities. This role would be an ideal position for a recently qualified Class 1 Driver who is looking to gain experience and be trained.

Responsibilities

  • Working within the Transport department to ensure the movement of trailers is carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Liaising with different departments and coordinating sub-contractors’ vehicles.
  • Ensure you fully understand and comply with company requirements regarding Health and Safety and Hygiene, including PPE.
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
  • To provide trailers for loading for both Retail/Abattoir.
