The Logistics Team Leader coordinates, leads and ensures proper and timely flow of all products and equipment from arrival until stored or shipped, following established policies and procedures. Performs the physical, technical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment, while following policies, procedures and safety regulations.

  • Mid-level knowledge of Logistics processes required; advanced knowledge of Logistics processes preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for proper handling, receiving, shipping and stocking of equipment and accessories according to Company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates and/or leads a team in the processing of equipment and accessories in the above functions.
  • Enters, audits and troubleshoots all incoming, outgoing and stocking transactions into the Company's database (PERFECT and/or D365) and maintains associated documentation.
  • Performs quality assurance checks and leads or coordinates projects for improvements of process.
  • Verifies proper equipment and accessories are received, stored and shipped for all transactions.
  • Visually inspects equipment for damage and cleanliness and corrects as directed.
  • Ensures equipment is routed as required by type of transaction and product segment.
  • Performs special inventory projects and performs other tasks when required.
  • Team Leader must act as a liaison between functional processing areas and provide good communication between said areas.
  • Team Leader must also liaise with Internal and External customers as necessary.
