Are you an experienced Global Account Director looking for an opportunity to make a genuine impact on a high‑profile international client? At Zenith International, we're looking for a commercially minded, relationship‑driven leader to join our team and help shape the future of our partnership with Philip Morris International. This fixed‑term maternity cover role offers the chance to work across more than 50 markets, collaborating with senior global stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional client service, strategic initiatives, and operational excellence.

You'll play a pivotal role in driving key projects, elevating market performance, and helping one of our largest and most influential accounts continue to thrive. This is a highly visible position with significant scope to influence, innovate, and showcase your leadership on a truly global stage. Responsibilities

  • Leading key account projects and initiatives, taking ownership from briefing through to delivery
  • Partnering with senior client stakeholders to build trusted, long‑term relationships
  • Managing and overseeing major client deliverables, including Global Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
  • Ensuring project outputs meet the highest standards, delivering against strategic objectives and client expectations
  • Supporting market teams and helping resolve challenges by coordinating the right expertise across the network
  • Providing clients with clear, proactive updates and visibility across markets, teams, and performance
  • Leading monthly global market meetings, bringing together insights, updates, and opportunities from across the business
  • Identifying and championing best practice and standout work from local markets
  • Collaborating with internal teams to improve processes, drive efficiency, and enhance ways of working
  • Evaluating potential partners and supporting strategic business decisions
  • Staying ahead of industry developments and translating trends into client opportunities
  • Proactively spotting opportunities to drive additional value, innovation, and growth for the client

Qualifications

  • Experience operating at Global Account Director level within a media, marketing, agency, or related environment
  • Outstanding client leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • A calm, confident presence with strong presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent commercial awareness and problem‑solving capabilities
  • Strong analytical thinking and an ability to turn insights into action
  • Solid Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience managing and developing people
  • Confidence handling client demands, navigating complex situations, and constructively challenging when required
  • A natural curiosity about people, behaviours, and what drives successful partnerships
  • Experience working with FMCG or restricted‑category clients would be advantageous
  • Previous pitch or business development experience
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • A willingness to travel internationally when required
