Beiersdorf is a key Power of One client for Publicis Groupe with existing responsibilities across creative, production, social and media. One of the best and most trusted skincare companies in the world, founded in ****, Beiersdorf generates over €9bn in revenue and employs over 22,000 people. This role is to fulfil a major new global media strategy scope for Nivea, working with Head of Strategy, other London-based Strategy Directors and international Groupe creative and operational colleagues who work within Publicis One Unlimited, the dedicated team created by Groupe for the client.
The core role is to develop best practice recommendations for Nivea within a set of Media Growth Playbooks incorporating key categories Face, Body, Deo and Sun. In addition, recommendations will also be required for Campaign-level Playbooks, providing media activation guidance to global, regional and market functions across client and agency, as well as supporting enhanced creative briefing and setting production requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed and high-quality guidelines for the client.
- Work with both our internal teams and the client to help carve out a power of one media strategy.
- Engage in practical planning and understand media planning and activations with the internal teams as well as the client globally.
- Take an active role in writing and producing materials, with a hands-on approach to Strategy.
- Collaborate with an integrated team across different regions (e.g., Dubai, New York).
Qualifications:
- Strong experience working in a media or communications agency.
- Worked with international clients across multiple markets.
- Confident presenting to senior clients and creating clear, useful insights.
- Positive media expert who tells compelling stories with data and gets buy-in from different stakeholders.
- Comfortable with both big-picture strategy and detailed channel planning—proven experience translating strategic thinking into media planning & buying recommendations.
- Experience with leading brands in personal care, skincare, beauty, or similar consumer products.
- Given the trend in the market, experience with social media, influencers, content, and online shopping—especially for Face, Body, Deo, and Sun categories.
- Strategic thinker skilled in digital, analytics, and optimisation who can shape client direction through media strategy.
- Able to clearly explain how different marketing channels work together and why they matter for business goals.
- Commercially focused, energetic, and results-driven—used to delivering strong outcomes.
- Experienced in briefing specialist teams and connecting planning with execution through a strong grasp of processes and timelines.
