We currently have an opportunity for an Education & Training Coordinator role within the Human Resources (HR) team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Plants Training requirements. Your responsibilities will include adopting an organised and methodical approach to ensure all training activities are planned and tracked effectively. You will work closely with your N+1 to develop training schedules, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. Additionally, you will assist in maintenance of training materials, provide administrative support, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the training program. Your attention to detail and proactive attitude will be key in ensuring the success of the training operations.
The salary for this position ranges from Β£30,000 to Β£34,000 per annum, depending on experience. We provide competitive pension contributions of up to 8%, 33 days of holiday (including bank holidays), and a range of additional benefits such as private healthcare, income protection, death in service coverage, a cycle-to-work scheme, and access to an employee assistance program (EAP).
Responsibilities
- Support the Plants Training requirements and develop training schedules with your manager.
- Plan, monitor, and track training activities to ensure effective delivery and compliance with standards and regulations.
- Maintain training materials and provide administrative support to the training program.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the training program.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure training operations run smoothly and efficiently.
About You
You must have the ability to work on your own initiative, have strong communication skills, with the ability to prioritise and think ahead.
The following qualifications/skills are required:
- The successful applicant must have strong people skills and an outgoing personality that matches that of a hardworking but fun office environment.
- Ideally, all applicants will have proven experience in an administrative role, such as a trainer or training coordinator, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Must have a valid UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle.
- Good working knowledge and experience of owning learning management systems.
- Ability to complete training cycles (plan, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate feedback).
- Strong work ethic, focused on maximising efficiencies within the role.
- Good working knowledge of training methods.
- Strong customer-focused background.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with virtual meeting platforms like Teams.
- Good time-keeping skills and the ability to multitask.
- An understanding of reporting requirements and experience in providing accurate data.
- A good understanding of Health and Safety Requirements linked to training.
- Ability to confidentially manage employee data.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, CRM experience.
- Organisation and planning skills to manage your time and to meet deadlines and objectives with the ability to prioritise your own workload.
