As Digital PR Associate Director, you’ll lead the development of insight-driven digital PR and link acquisition strategies that are rooted in data and designed to deliver measurable business impact. You’ll combine creativity with analytical thinking to identify opportunities, shape campaigns, and ensure our clients’ digital presence grows in both authority and visibility.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Interrogating data sources (such as search data, competitor analysis, consumer insights, media landscapes) to identify opportunities and inform campaign strategy.
- Translating campaign results into clear business outcomes, tying digital PR activity to SEO and wider marketing goals.
- Championing data-led decision making across the team, ensuring campaigns are measurable, repeatable, and scalable.
- Content and campaign ideation, client communication, team workflow management, planning and delivery QA/QC, and training.
We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of the digital ecosystem and has worked across global or multi-market outreach campaigns before, with a strong focus on generating backlinks.
Responsibilities include:
- Owning the digital PR vision for key clients, ensuring activity ladders up to wider SEO and marketing objectives.
- Using data sources (e.g. keyword research, link analysis tools, media monitoring, consumer trends, social listening) to shape strategy and evaluate campaign opportunities.
- Staying ahead of industry shifts in search, digital PR, AI, and data-driven storytelling, introducing new tactics to the team.
- Working with the content team to create link-worthy content.
- Developing tactics and strategies to successfully acquire brand mentions and links for a variety of niches.
- Managing client communications related to outreach.
- Line managing Digital PR manager/s and overseeing junior members of the Digital PR team.
- Delivering training for more junior members of the team.
Qualifications:
- Substantial experience in an outreach role, although we are open to hearing from candidates in traditional PR roles or SEO roles.
- Comfortable handling large datasets (e.g. search data, backlink profiles, competitor benchmarking).
- Proven track record of building links for a range of niches.
- Experience with link building tools.
