Job Description
Energy and Commodities (E&C) Trading organisations have invested heavily in E/CTRM platforms over the last two decades.
Yet the organisations creating real competitive advantage today are not simply the ones with the best trading systems.
They are the ones building the data ecosystems, user experiences and intelligent decision-support capabilities around them.
As the industry accelerates towards AI-enabled operations and increasingly data-driven trading models, the focus is shifting from system implementation to enterprise-wide trading transformation.
Publicis Sapient partners with many of the world's leading Energy Trading organisations to navigate that shift.
Our teams work across the full trading technology landscape, helping clients modernise ETRM estates, architect data-led ecosystems and unlock greater value from their trading platforms.
This creates opportunities for experienced practitioners to apply their expertise beyond traditional package implementation, influencing how the next generation of trading organisations operate, scale and compete.

- Facilitate workshops with front office, middle office, operations and technology stakeholders to align business priorities and solution outcomes
- Act as the bridge between trading businesses and technology delivery teams, ensuring business requirements are effectively understood and delivered
- Challenge current-state ways of working and help clients design practical, scalable and future-ready trading capabilities
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders through deep industry expertise, practical Supply & Trading experience and strong consulting skills
- Contribute directly to client delivery as a hands-on practitioner, supporting business transformation and ETRM-enabled change initiatives
- Help clients navigate the future of Energy Trading through modernisation, data-led operating models and evolving trading technology ecosystems
