Responsibilities

  • Act as the main purchasing contact for engineering team.
  • Manage purchase requisitions and ensure timely, accurate ordering.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, monitoring quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Drive cost‑reduction initiatives and identify opportunities for improved sourcing and standardisation.
  • Evaluate costs, quality, and suitability of suppliers, materials, and equipment; select and support the development of suitable vendors.
  • Maintain compliance with procurement policies and promote safe working practices.

Qualifications

  • Procurement experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier‑management skills.
  • Previous manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • High level of numerical accuracy and analytical ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Professional and confident communicator.
  • Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
