As part of the accounts team, you’ll take ownership of processing company expenses and invoices with precision, ensuring everything is handled in line with company policy and legislative requirements. Beyond this, you’ll support a range of accounts payable duties, working closely with your manager to keep operations running smoothly. Location: Colwyn House, Colchester
Salary: Up to £24,785.50 (dependent on experience)
Working hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Please note: this is an on-site role, not remote.
Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the smooth running of the company’s Accounts Payable and Expenses function
- Ensuring expenses/invoices are correctly authorised in line with company policy
- Checking and coding employee expense claims/invoices
- Communicating with employees to enforce company policy
- Inputting invoices/expenses on the system
- Understanding and resolving invoice discrepancies and supplier queries
- Using Excel spreadsheets for importing multi-site invoices
- Managing multiple mailboxes
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Filing, scanning and ad-hoc duties as required
