As part of our mission to produce the finest lamb from naturally sustainable sources, we are looking for a reliable, motivated Butcher to join our Llanybydder team. We are looking for an individual with previous butchery experience that they would like to utilize and develop further.

Responsibilities

Your main duties will include:

Our ideal candidate would be willing and able to ensure all products are boned out to the highest standard which maximizes yield whilst meeting production targets and maintaining quality standards. This will include breaking carcasses down from whole to primals and de‑boning and trimming shoulders, legs and loins. Other responsibilities include:

• Adhering to departmental SOPs and good manufacturing practices
• Contributing to the team’s goals and department targets
• Ensuring that all customer and company specifications are met
• Keeping your work area clean and organized at all times, following our ‘clean as you go’ policy
• Promoting and maintaining excellent Health, Safety, and Hygiene standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience and skill in lamb Butchery techniques is essential
• Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Butchery is preferred but not required
• Follows instructions and works with care and consistency
• Upholds and shares our strong values and supports a positive team culture
• Team player with good communication skills
• Is reliable and hardworking
