We are actively seeking applications from individuals keen to take up a career within one of Europe’s leading food processing companies. This is an opportunity to join a well-established team, within our Despatch department as a Forklift operator (counterbalance). The role will have responsibility for working as part of the Despatch Department, to load and move stock and products to specification, in line with food safety regulations and to the high quality expected by Dunbia customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out start up checks, highlighting and reporting any issues.
  • The ability to work well both in a team and independently.
  • Full compliance and strict adherence to all Environmental, Health & Safety and Quality Standards laid out in departmental and site policies and procedures.
  • Attention to detail, commitment and the ability to accept responsibility.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Committed to working within the Company Mission, Vision & Values.
  • Maintaining Health, Safety and Hygiene Standards in accordance with company rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience of using a FLT desirable.
  • Able to provide proof of right to work in the UK.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to place of work - Carnaby Industrial Estate YO15 3QY.
  • No company sponsorship is available to overseas applicants for this position.
