Overview: This position will be physically based out of London Heathrow.
Position Purpose: To support the Cash Centre Manager daily to ensure the scheduling and processing of Banknote shipments and customer orders in a timely and effective manner, thus ensuring the smooth running of the Cash Centre. The Assistant Cash Centre Manager will also be responsible for deputising in the absence of the Cash Centre Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Cashier processing team, always ensuring a high-quality cashiering service to WCSI’s customers.
- Work closely with the Cash Centre Manager to ensure all banknote shipments are processed on time, to ensure a quick turnaround of currencies and are available for dealers to sell as soon as possible to maximise revenues and to meet all CIT schedules.
- Handle sensitive and confidential customer information on Intrafin, producing pick lists and envelope packing slips in a methodical manner for our Retail customers, whilst maintaining accuracy and working to tight deadlines to ensure no outbound shipments miss their departure.
- Investigate and resolve all cash processing discrepancies from customers in a timely manner, ensuring accurate audit trails are maintained.
- Assist the Cash Centre Manager with reviews of processing methods and assist with the implementation of improved processes and procedures, to achieve better processing efficiencies.
- Interact with the Dealers daily to provide shipment processing updates and discuss any urgent processing priorities.
- Interact with WCSI Shipping Manager to advise when shipments are received or ready for dispatch and assist where possible with paperwork and documents.
- Be fully aware and deal in accordance with WCSI company policies and procedures.
- Build strong business relationships – internal and external.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Previous Cash handling and Cash Centre experience is essential.
- Teamwork, Time Management skills, Numeracy and Accuracy and working to tight deadlines are all key skills required for this role.
- Must have the ability to act with integrity, due skill, care and diligence, especially having access to the confidential information held regarding WCSI’s customer base.
- Secondary/College Educated to GCSE/A level qualification.
