Job Description

We are looking for a Looker Studio Analytics & Reporting Manager to create clear, compelling, and interactive reports that visualise media investment performance for a major global fashion retailer.

This is a highly autonomous role that will suit a data obsessive that can derive meaning and present it to a non-technical from often large and complex datasets.

Fundamentally, a love of data, curiosity and the desire to learn a lot in a short space of time will be what success in this role is measured on.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Looker Studio dashboards to visualise media investment, campaign performance, and marketing KPIs.
  • Implement effective storytelling through data, ensuring dashboards are intuitive and aligned with business needs.
  • Build custom calculations, filters, and blended visualisations within Looker Studio.
  • Optimise dashboard performance, user experience, and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and refine visualisation outputs.
  • Provide documentation and basic user training on dashboard functionality.
  • On-going training and support of the account and wider agency network team in on-going ad-hoc analytics projects
  • Involvement in reporting on Data Governance and taxonomy compliance
  • To be the ‘Go-to’ resource on any data, analytics, visualisation issues for the client and Zenith team.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Advanced Excel user (advanced string functions for data manipulation, array formulas, PowerQuery for data cleansing/transforms, PowerPivot for basic data modelling)
  • Previous experience working with large scale digital media campaign data at either agency or publisher. Will consider client experience if media spends are in excess of £10m per annum.
  • Intermediate SQL and knowledge of Python for automation tasks.
  • Familiarity with modern data stack – particularly pre-configured API tools such as Funnel/FiveTran/Adverity and exposure to a data warehouse product – Databricks/GBQ/Snowflake would be ideal. Not expecting hands on experience in engineering but familiarity with the processes of creating pipelines and data modelling would be hugely beneficial as the role will involve heavy collaboration with a Data engineer.
  • Certification or experience in Looker studio would be great but experience in mainstream BI tools such as PowerBI or Tableau is essential.
  • Exposure to a form of Project Management methodology and PM Tools
  • Previous experience in employing taxonomy for media investment reporting and assessing the consequential effects of non-compliance
  • Understanding of Data visualisation principles
  • Exposure to mainstream web analytics (Adobe Analytics, GA4) tools would be beneficial
  • Comfortable presenting complex data analytics to a non-technical audience
  • Strong knowledge of media investment metrics (e.g. CPM, CPA, ROAS, attribution, share of spend).
  • Experience working with main digital media data sources (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, DV360, SA360, CM360, GA4).
  • Excellent data visualisation and UX/UI skills to present complex data in a clear and engaging way.
