About Us
Carbis Club operates the leisure, spa and café facilities at Una St Ives in the picturesque Carbis Bay, Cornwall. We are looking to expand our current team by recruiting for a Club Assistant to help look after our club users.
Role Overview
The Club Assistant will manage day-to-day operations of the club, handling member check-ins, facility checks, simple café service, payment processing, pool testing and general administrative duties. The role includes early (6.15 am–2.15 pm) and late (12.45 pm–8.45 pm) shifts, with weekend duties on a rota basis.
Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day operations, including member check-ins, facility checks, café service, payment processing, pool testing and general administrative duties.
- Set up, serve and clean up in the café.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues and exceeding expectations.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness, organisation and safety standards throughout the club.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role or environment is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
