We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer / Setter to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will have strong experience programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines, with the ability to program both online at the machine and offline using CAD/CAM software.
Responsibilities
- Machining precision components to engineering drawings.
- Carrying out in-process inspection using CMM equipment and conventional measuring tools.
- Adjusting programs to ensure parts meet quality expectations and tight tolerances.
- Completing sub-assemblies and supporting continuous improvement within production.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of engineering drawings, inspection techniques, and machining processes.
- Proactive attitude towards problem solving and quality, and strong commitment to health and safety standards.
- Previous experience in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with multi-axis machining and CAD/CAM software (advantageous).
- Experience using EDM & spark erosion preferred but not essential.
