Ummah is financial infrastructure for the global economy. We build the rails that let platforms, marketplaces, and fintech companies accept payments, route transactions, and manage payouts across 90+ countries and 100+ payment methods. Our work is to give builders the infrastructure to move money on their own terms.

You will own social and content distribution across every channel we touch. This is a leadership role with full responsibility over strategy and direction, while staying close enough to the work to execute when needed. The work spans strategy, management, and hands‑on execution.

Specifically, you will:

  • Define and refine our voice across X, LinkedIn, our blog, launch posts, and developer‑facing communications
  • Set the content strategy: what we publish, which conversations we enter, and which audiences we earn over time
  • Lead and manage content production across channels, ensuring consistency, quality, and speed
  • Execute when needed: write posts, produce short video, design screenshots, and shape launch threads
  • Distribute deliberately: identify the founders, builders, and communities our message belongs in front of, and earn placement there
  • Partner directly with the founders, engineering, and product teams.

Who we are looking for:

  • You have run social for a startup, a creator, or a builder‑focused brand, and you can show specific work tied to specific outcomes.
  • You have strong, defensible opinions on how fintech and infrastructure companies should communicate.
  • You can write a tweet, a long‑form LinkedIn post, and a launch announcement, and the difference between the three is clear in the work.
  • You are comfortable owning strategy while also jumping into execution when needed.
  • You have experience working closely with teams and know how to align content with product, growth, and company priorities.
  • You ship consistently and do not need heavy process to publish.
  • You care about design and visual quality, even if you are not the one producing the design.
  • You study the field. You read Stripe, Mercury, Linear, Polar, Whop, and the founders building in public, and you have your own theories about why some posts land and most do not.

Bonus points:

  • Direct experience at or with fintech and developer‑tools brands.
  • An audience of your own on any platform. We care about taste, not follower count.
  • Ability to edit short video and produce visual content end to end.
  • Familiarity with the global consumer, creator, and developer economy. MENA is a plus.
