Job Purpose As Site Management Director you will lead Umicore Coating Services, located in Dundee, UK, which specializes in the design and manufacture of infrared thin-film optical coatings and precision optical filters.

As part of the Management team you will lead Umicore Coating Services (UCS), Dundee as site and legal entity leader; ensure safe, compliant and reliable operations while delivering the business plan and customer commitments for our coating business.

In this challenging position in one of our unique facilities you will lead the operations, develop your team (25+), grow the business and play a crucial role in the further development of the site, while ensuring efficiency and productivity, optimizing production and striving for the highest quality and safety standards.

Your Key Accountabilities Lead and develop the Site Management team to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes, setting clear objectives, feedback, and growth plans.

Build a resilient site leadership team and succession / capability pipeline for UCS.

Act as P&O site lead covering P&O responsibilities.

Translate functional priorities into actionable plans for the Site Management area, allocating resources and removing delivery obstacles.

Deliver budget, cost control and cash discipline while safeguarding service levels and quality.

Accountable for (financial and trade) compliance.

Ensure robust program management and regulatory compliance across the department, meeting quality, cost, and timeliness targets.

Strengthen EHS, quality and operational excellence set-up, including new/updated roles where needed.

Oversee production activities within the site, ensuring operational efficiency, adherence to safety standards, and alignment with overall business objectives.

Embed governance, internal controls, and compliance standards, monitoring risks and implements corrective actions promptly.

Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and digital enablement in Site Management, tracking KPIs and delivering year-on-year performance gains.

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, resolve escalations, and improve end-to-end processes.
