We are partnering with an innovative semiconductor manufacturer to find a skilled Photolithography Process Engineer. This role is based at their state-of-the-art wafer fabrication facility in the UK. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the introduction and qualification of new photolithography equipment and processes.
  • Lead technology and product development projects to deliver innovative process solutions.
  • Collaborate with production staff, engineers, and technicians to support wafer fab manufacturing.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  • Participate actively in process and product development procedures to ensure successful transfer from development to production.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in photolithography processes.
  • Proven ability to lead project teams and provide technical expertise and coaching to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Sound knowledge of i-line and DUV lithography materials, methods, and systems.
  • Practical knowledge of CD and overlay metrology systems.
  • Experience in equipment selection, commissioning, and process setup.
  • Proficiency in statistical process control techniques and data analysis tools such as MiniTab or JMP.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Background in process development and new product introduction.
  • Knowledge of automated clean tracks and stepper/scanner-based optical exposure tools.
  • Experience with e-beam lithography equipment and processes.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 18001 standards.
