That's what this role is for!
THE ROLE
This is a hybrid role that combines talent acquisition with talent development.
You will own how we attract, hire and onboard people into Umbilical Advanced, from graduates starting their careers to experienced consultants joining a specialist desk.
You will report to the Managing Director and work closely with him to shape the overarching talent strategy for the business. This is a transformational role with real influence over how we grow.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Recruit graduate and experienced talent into our consultant teams and support functions
- Build talent pipelines aligned to our market desks, so we are not starting from zero when a seat opens
- Design and run onboarding that gets new joiners productive and confident, quickly
- Contribute to early-stage development, including training, coaching and career pathways
- Shape our employer brand, so the right people know who we are and why they would join
- Set hiring plans, milestones and measures with the MD that tie back to business objectives
ABOUT YOU
- An experienced recruitment professional: agency, in-house, or both
- A track record of building pipelines and hiring against a plan
- A genuine interest in developing people, not only hiring them
- Comfortable working at strategy level and doing the hands-on work in the same week
- Credible with senior people and approachable with graduates
