If you have expertise in performance optimisation and are excited by the challenge of pushing systems to their limits, this role may be ideal. About the Role: As a Quant Developer, you’ll focus on building and refining high-speed trading systems. Low-latency skills are critical here—you’ll drive performance improvements that are vital to maintaining competitive trading speeds. Working closely with traders and tech experts, you’ll optimise the trading stack across Spot, CFDs, Futures, and Perpetuals. Key Responsibilities: Enhance exchange trading capabilities, emphasising ultra-low-latency development to increase market share. Develop and fine-tune trading strategies tailored for high-performance environments. Optimise all components of the trading stack, from pricing models to real-time risk management. Use systematic tools for monitoring and analysis to ensure peak system efficiency. Automate processes and strengthen risk management protocols. Skills We’re Looking For: Essential : 3+ years in front office trading systems with an emphasis on low-latency development. Strong understanding of system architecture and design for performance. Experience with FX, Crypto, or Equity products. Proficiency in at least two programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL, Rust). Solid mathematical skills. Preferred : Background in pricing and trading strategies. Quantitative research experience, Machine Learning knowledge. Expertise in low-latency systems and performance optimisation.
