This is a high-impact architecture role within a fast-moving SaaS environment, where you will help design and evolve scalable, secure, and highly available systems across multiple products. You will work closely with product managers and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, shaping everything from APIs and microservices to cloud infrastructure and event-driven platforms. The environment is highly collaborative and flat-structured, giving you visibility across the full product and platform lifecycle. This role is ideal for a hands-on architect who is equally comfortable designing systems at scale as they are engaging with engineers.
Required Experience:
- 10+ years experience including experience delivering technical architecture across application and infrastructure
- You've designed complex, scalable, and highly available products and understand different types of architecture
- Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), and databases (SQL, NoSQL)
- Hands-on experience with Java, APIs, streaming, messaging, queue-based systems, Kubernetes and IaC
- Understanding of security by design and familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Any experience in highly regulated industries (finance, defence, cybersecurity, gaming) is highly beneficial
