The Role

  • Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes, specializing in curries, tandoori, biryanis, and other regional delicacies
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality across all dishes
  • Use traditional cooking techniques and authentic spices to maintain originality and depth of flavour
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to develop and refine menu offerings
  • Maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards
  • Train and mentor junior chefs in mastering Indian cuisine
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure efficient kitchen operations

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Speciality Chef in Indian cuisine within a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques, spices, and flavour profiles
  • Experience working with tandoori ovens and preparing authentic Indian breads, curries, and grilled dishes
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for food and commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience
  • Understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations (UK food safety qualifications preferred)
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
