Our fast-paced environment requires an Indian Speciality Chef with strong culinary expertise, creativity, and a passion for traditional Indian flavours.
The Role
- Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes, specializing in curries, tandoori, biryanis, and other regional delicacies
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality across all dishes
- Use traditional cooking techniques and authentic spices to maintain originality and depth of flavour
- Work closely with the Head Chef to develop and refine menu offerings
- Maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards
- Train and mentor junior chefs in mastering Indian cuisine
- Monitor stock levels and ensure efficient kitchen operations
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Speciality Chef in Indian cuisine within a high-volume kitchen
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques, spices, and flavour profiles
- Experience working with tandoori ovens and preparing authentic Indian breads, curries, and grilled dishes
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for food and commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations (UK food safety qualifications preferred)
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
