Join Our Team
Ulwell Holiday Park is seeking a skilled Gardener or experienced Groundskeeper to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining and enhancing the beauty of our landscaped grounds, gardens, and outdoor spaces, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for all our guests.
Alongside your primary gardening and groundskeeping duties, you may also be asked to assist with general maintenance tasks across the park. Training will be provided for these areas as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out day-to-day gardening and groundskeeping tasks, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, planting, and upkeep of flowerbeds.
- Maintaining lawns, trees, shrubs, and landscaped areas to a high standard.
- Ensuring outdoor facilities, pathways, and communal areas are tidy, safe, and well-presented.
- Using and maintaining tools, equipment, and machinery in a safe and effective manner.
- Assisting with seasonal planting, grounds preparation, and general site presentation.
- Supporting general maintenance tasks when required (training provided).
- Reporting any safety, equipment, or infrastructure issues to management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a gardener, groundskeeper, or in a similar outdoor maintenance role.
- Good knowledge of plants, lawns, and grounds care practices.
- Competence in the safe use of gardening tools and machinery.
- A proactive, hardworking approach with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work weekends and during peak holiday periods.
Hours, Pay & Benefits
- Hours: Flexible shifts available (full-time or part-time options may be considered).
- Pay: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience.
