The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. - Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals to identify faults.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out assembly and repair tasks efficiently.
- Carry out welding and equipment repair as required to restore vehicle integrity.
- Assist with the installation of new parts or accessories, ensuring proper fitment and functionality.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimise future issues.
- Have general experience within the retail motor industry and automotive systems.
- Experience in approved and established procedures for conducting service, repairs, and the ability to conduct MOT's is desirable, but not mandatory.

- Have a developing knowledge of National and where possible European regulations, restrictions and legislation relevant to the motor industry.
