As we expand our operations into new locations, we seek a dedicated and experienced Sonographer to join our skilled team. Key Responsibilities: Perform a variety of ultrasound exams including, but not limited to, obstetrical, abdominal, and vascular ultrasound. Provide thorough and accurate imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures. Analyze and assess ultrasound images to identify abnormalities and prepare preliminary reports for physicians. Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols. Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and patients regarding procedures and findings. Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations. Stay up-to-date with advancements in sonography techniques and technology through continuing education and professional development. Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Registered with the ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or relevant equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Sonographer. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to ultrasound diagnostics. Excellent technical skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare staff. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and software applications.
