The Role
We are looking for a reliable, highly skilled Qualified Electrician to join our field services team. You will be the face of UltraMech on-site, moving between various projects across London to handle everything from plant room distribution and HVAC electrical support to critical system maintenance and safety testing (EICR).
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installations, reactive repairs, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Work on commercial systems including plant rooms, boiler controls, and electrical distribution boards.
- Support specialist systems such as HIUs, fire alarms, and emergency lighting.
- Ensure all work is compliant with BS 7671 (18th Edition) regulations.
- Liaise with site managers and clients, providing technical reports and signing off on installations.
What We’re Looking For
- Fully Qualified: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) and a valid JIB Gold Card.
- Knowledgeable: 18th Edition (BS 7671) is essential; 2391 Inspection & Testing is highly desirable.
- Experienced: At least 3–5 years of experience in a commercial or industrial environment.
- Adaptable: Comfortable working across different sites in London; a full UK driving license is required.
- Safety-First: A proven track record of working within high-safety cultures, utilizing RAMS effectively.
