About Ultralytics: At Ultralytics, we commit to relentless innovation in the AI space and seek team members who resonate with our ambition to produce the world's best YOLO AI models. If you're obsessed with AI, eager to make an impact on the world and thrive in dynamic, high-intensity environments, we invite you to apply for a position on our team.

About the role: As People Operations Specialist, you'll be our first dedicated People Ops hire, owning the end-to-end employee lifecycle, global culture, and systems that keep our international team running. This is a builder role, not a small-cog position in a large enterprise. You'll work directly with leadership, especially the VP of Operations, to design people processes from scratch and help scale Ultralytics from 60 to 150+ team members. You'll build onboarding, off-boarding, HRIS workflows, employee experience, compliance coordination, and talent development systems that support our teams across London, Madrid, Shenzhen, and beyond. This role is ideal for an astute, hands-on people specialist who brings high empathy, operational rigor, discretion, and a strong desire to shape the foundational culture of a global AI company.

What you'll do:

  • Employee lifecycle management: Own global onboarding so new hires have the tech, tools, and context to succeed from Day 1. Manage seamless, compliant off-boarding processes for departing team members. Partner with regional leads and external partners on contracts, compliance, and local HR practices. Serve as the go-to contact for daily people inquiries, benefits administration, and London office needs.
  • HRIS & operational excellence: Act as super-user and admin for our HRIS, keeping employee data accurate and current. Build, document, and streamline HR workflows that scale with our global growth. Use compliant AI tools to automate repetitive HR processes and improve team efficiency. Maintain people data and partner with leadership on headcount, retention, and market insights.
  • Talent development: Support performance review frameworks, career pathways, and training initiatives. Source and organize L&D resources for technical, commercial, and operations teams. Help embed high-performance habits across Ultralytics' growing global organization. Improve people processes through clear documentation in the Ultralytics Handbook.

Skills and experience:

  • Core requirements: 2–4 years in HR, People Ops, Talent Ops, or a similar people-focused operations role. Hands-on HRIS experience with platforms like HiBob, Rippling, Personio, or similar. Strong project management skills with consistent ownership and execution. High empathy, discretion, confidentiality, and maturity with sensitive employee matters. Comfort using AI tools daily to streamline compliant, repetitive people workflows.
  • Nice to have: Experience in a fast-moving tech startup, scale-up, or AI company. Exposure to multi-location teams or cross-border compliance across the UK, Spain, or China. Familiarity with employment contracts, benefits administration, and office operations. Interest in AI, computer vision, open-source ecosystems, or YOLO models. Multilingual communication or experience supporting international teams.

Cultural fit: At Ultralytics, we set bold goals and execute with speed, precision, and teamwork. We're driven by hard work, ambition, and resilience — building fast, learning constantly, and delivering measurable impact. You'll thrive here if you:

  • Take ownership and deliver results with focus and accountability.
  • Combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Value excellence, grit, and creativity in equal measure.
  • See collaboration as the foundation for meaningful progress.

Our culture is built around our core values:

  • Relentless progress: Constant evolution and improvement.
  • Strive for excellence: Perseverance and attention to detail.
  • Actions, not words: Focus on delivering meaningful results.
  • Act with urgency: Seize fleeting opportunities.
  • Open access to all: Transparent communication and collaboration.

Compensation and benefits: We reward excellence and impact — not just tenure or title.

  • Competitive salary: Reflecting your experience and contribution.
  • Equity packages: We want our success to be yours too.
  • On-site collaboration: Work with passionate builders in one of our global hubs.
  • Flexible working hours: We value results over routines.
  • Generous time off: 24 vacation days, your birthday off, plus local holidays.
  • Tech & tools: Work on cutting-edge AI projects that power millions of devices.
  • Gear: Brand-new Apple MacBook Air/Pro, Apple Studio Display, and AirPods Pro 3.
  • Learning & development: Dedicated budget for personal and professional growth.
  • High impact: Your work will shape the future of vision AI.

Where and how you can work: We believe great work happens where passion meets purpose. This role is on-site/hybrid at our London hub (3 days per week). Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the country of application. We're an in-office team that values daily collaboration, energy, and connection. Being together helps us move faster, learn from one another, and celebrate wins as they happen.

Ultralytics is an equal opportunity employer and are committed to building an inclusive workplace. We believe that everyone should be able to bring their whole selves to work, and we do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.
