We're looking for an experienced Specifications Technologist (also known as a Specification Writer) to join our growing Technical team in Manchester. As the business continues to scale, this role is key to keeping our product data accurate, compliant, and retail-ready.

What You’ll Be Stirring Up Day To Day- Writing, reviewing and maintaining retailer product specifications for major UK supermarkets (Top 5 retailers and discounters)
- Managing ingredient, allergen, nutritional and claims data with total accuracy
- Collaborating closely with NPD, Quality and Supply Chain from concept through to launch
- Supporting artwork checks, approvals and final product sign-off
- Ensuring specifications remain compliant with UK food labelling and technical standards
- Keeping our specification systems tidy, consistent and audit-ready
- Proven experience as a Specifications Technologist, Specification Writer or Technical Administrator within food manufacturing
- Strong understanding of retailer specification systems and requirements
- Working knowledge of allergens, food labelling legislation and technical terminology
- A sharp eye for detail and confidence managing complex data
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine passion for food and being part of a collaborative technical team
