To support the Shift Manager with the day-to-day running of all the Production Lines and Processes.
To maintain line efficiency and reduce wastage where possible. Operators will undertake all aspects of training, including paperwork completion and quality checks as required by QC, and ensure that all training is documented before operating any process equipment.
Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Welfare procedures throughout the site. Operators must at all times maintain the required level of Cleaning and Hygiene as instructed by the Quality Department and actively participate in the GMP program.
To train and monitor all Agency Staff allocated to the production areas.

- Work closely with teams and departments to maximise efficiency.
- Strive with other teams to continuously improve processes and reduce waste.
- Work closely with the Shift Manager and Engineering to reduce downtime.
- Be able to step up for the Shift Managerβs role during holiday/absence periods.
- Good communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written, including agency staff and temporary workers.
- Ensure all products produced meet the correct specifications using the correct raw materials (Right First Time).
- Maintain the quality of the product to the required standard.
- Eliminate costly waste and mistakes by adhering to procedures and paperwork.
- Assess all areas of daily operations with a view to continuous improvement in production, efficiency, and Health and Safety.
- Be fully aware of all company rules and regulations.
- Understand and respect the different nationalities and ideals of colleagues.
- Strive to improve performance through learning, e.g., courses and using Percipio.
- Good working knowledge of routine machine operations of line equipment.
- Maintain constant attention to safe working practices for yourself and others, including agency staff.
