Ultra Precision Control Systems (PCS) are looking for a Bid Project Manager to lead and execute all aspects of NRE Project Management efforts relating to RFI, RFP, RFQ phases as part of Bids and Proposals efforts, under Development Engineering Programme Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead end to end delivery of NRE part of project management support in relation to Bids and Proposals
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Build and lead the project team.
- Manage resources and allocate tasks effectively.
- Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Identify and manage risks and resolve issues.
- Communicate with stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations.
- Work in an exciting, complex and changing environment.
- Manage customer/stakeholders across a diverse multi-functional, international organisation.
- Be part of an exciting Project Management function.
- Provide a monthly project report in the designated format which includes accurate cost information.
- Continue to meet professional project management qualification.
- Someone to have supported bids across multiple lifecycles.
- Ideally with an APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ).
- Degree in related field or Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Experience of Project Management delivery of at least 2 years (for external candidates).
- Proficient with scheduling tools, e.g. Primavera P6, MS Projects, or similar.
- Awareness of Project Finance, Commercial, Quality, Supply Chain and Trade Compliance.
- Project/Programme Management experience – ideally gained in a matrix organisation.
- Strong risk management skills and experience.
- Sound business judgement including an appreciation of complex problems and how to solve them.
- Bidding & estimating experience.
- Negotiating and influencing skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships and work collaboratively across various levels and with internal and external collaborators.
- Someone with a ‘Can Do’ attitude and represents Ultra PCS Values.
