  • Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) Administration
  • Check internal PRs for completeness, accuracy, supply chain compliance and authorisation
  • Clarify specifications, quantities and timelines with stakeholders
  • Sourcing activity as required and/or review/negotiate to obtain best value
  • Conversion of authorised PRs to PO
  • Negotiate contracts ensuring lowest possible cost is balanced against the optimum quality & schedule needs. Ensure any contract flow downs are applied as applicable.
  • PDF authorised POs and issue to supplier and requisitioner in accordance with company and government regulations.
  • Expedite and manage order books and dates in IFS. Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery/service execution
  • Implement and manage blanket POs for overheads. Ensure sufficient value, receipt as per invoices, regularly spot check invoices for pricing compliance
  • Support departments to implement blanket POs
  • Proactive time management to manage supplier order books and effectively expedite and prioritize orders to ensure Goods/Services are available to the manufacturing team at the right time
  • Supplier Relationship Management
  • Be the relationship owner between suppliers and the wider business to ensure supply of goods and services that meet the business needs.
  • Communicate regularly with suppliers on ongoing orders and performance, plus generalised check ins
  • Resolve issues relating to delivery, quality or invoicing
  • Assess and evaluate suppliers and undertake performance reviews to ensure contract compliance and manage performance improvement activities.
  • Accounts Payable (AP) Support
  • Support AP in addressing and co‑ordinating with supplier to resolve discrepancies between PO, invoice and receipt
  • Approve invoices for payment
  • Procurement Administration
  • To ensure ERP data is accurate, maintain accurate part and supplier ERP data including lead‑times, cost and supplier evaluations
  • Raise, negotiate and issue NDAs
  • Manage new supplier requests and onboarding
  • Be main POC for PR and receipting process, IFS permissions, training and issue resolution
  • Support audits and compliance reviews
  • Internal Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Internal relationship management and support as required
  • Provide updates on procurement status and activity
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, standardising suppliers and consolidating spend
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (such as IFS).

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • PC literate in MS office suite.
  • Eligible to obtain UK security clearance to SC level.

  • Security Requirements

This role requires you to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard Check (BPSS) as a minimum and some roles will require further national security vetting checks.

In line with Baseline Security requirements, candidates will be asked to provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in the UK and employment and/or education history for up to three years.

Some vacancies may require full Security Clearance which can require further evidence to be provided.
