By joining the Communications Business within Ultra I&C, your unique talents will be pivotal in shaping global communication for our dedicated warfighters. As the Ultra Communications division enters a new phase of growth and transformation (becoming Marconi Technologies), we are seeking a strategic and influential Senior HR Business Partner to shape and deliver the people agenda across our UK operations. Acting as a key member of the Global HR Team and UK Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving organisational performance, strengthening our culture, and enabling our teams to thrive. While this role is focused on the UK, and reports into the Vice President for the UK, it is also a key membership within the broader HR team across Canada, the USA and the UK. As such it will be required to have a view of our work, the teams in all these locations supporting our integration and alignment. As part of this role, occasional travel between various sites may be required. This is a high impact opportunity for a forward thinking HR leader to influence strategy, accelerate organisational development and help define the future of our business.

Skills, Experience, And Qualifications
- Extensive experience operating at HRBP level in complex, technical or multi‑site environments, ideally within defence, engineering or manufacturing.
- CIPD Level 7 or equivalent experience; Chartered CIPD (MCIPD/Chartered MCIPD) desirable and/or coaching qualifications (ILM, EMCC, ICF) are an advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law with proven experience managing complex employee relations matters and advising senior leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to shape culture, lead organisational change, and implement performance and development frameworks.
- Excellent communication, coaching and relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience developing HR policies, leading recruitment and retention strategies, and using HR data to inform decisions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain BPSS or SC clearance.
- Comfortable working across UK sites and internationally, with occasional travel required.
