We are looking for an experienced manager to head up our Customer Services function. This role is an ideal opportunity for someone who may feel that they would thrive within a relatively small, busy company, which operates and manages a range of interesting and highly respected outdoor challenge events that engage thousands of participants, 400+ charities, and a hundred or so corporate clients each year. Whilst some of our events may only last as little as a single day, many individual customer journeys span up to 12 months; therefore providing first-class customer service and excellent communication is absolutely at the heart of what we deliver as a class-leading brand.
As a Communications Executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the image and reputation of our company through developing our online brand and creating engaging communications which excite and shape our Customer Journey. You will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that promote our events, engage our target audience, and enhance our brand presence. This role requires a creative, strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for telling stories through online and social channels.
The primary responsibility is to coordinate with Action Challenge's customers and to manage the accompanying processes, to ensure that our customers are well prepared and the operational plans are delivered effectively - from pre-booking to post-trip. This role has the responsibility for delivering a first-class service level setting us apart from our competitors, ensuring our customers return year on year and become advocates for our brand.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced events professional to join one of the UK's most popular series of mass participation endurance events, to lead the operational planning of the events portfolio. This key role sits within our UK Operations Team and is ideal for a passionate individual who can multi-task, is very organised, can communicate very well, and is looking to further their career within the mass participation/sporting/events sector.
We are looking for recent University graduates with a keen interest in sporting events and mass participation to join us on a 12-month internship programme. You will gain experience across marketing, customer services, planning, and operations as we work towards delivering the 2024 series of events.
