Role Description

The Stainless Steel Fabricator role is a full-time, on-site position based in King’s Lynn.

The role involves fabricating and assembling stainless steel components, including tanks, frames, brackets, pipework, and conveyor parts for food production environments.

Day-to-day tasks include measuring and cutting materials, performing TIG welding for food-grade systems, grinding and finishing surfaces, and using hand and power tools to produce precise, hygienic fabrications.

The fabricator will assist with on-site installation, modification, and repair of process pipework and production lines, including occasional shutdown and emergency maintenance support.

The role also includes reading technical drawings, maintaining a safe and clean work area, collaborating with the engineering team, and following health, safety, and food hygiene standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong metalworking skills, including stainless steel fabrication, cutting, forming, and assembly.
  • Proficiency with hand tools such as measuring instruments, clamps, files, and basic fabrication tools.
  • Experience using grinding equipment and surface finishing tools for clean, precise welds and fabrications.
  • Competence with power tools, including drills, saws, and related fabrication machinery.
