Key Responsibilities

  • Apply end‑to‑end systems engineering methods across the full lifecycle.
  • Develop system requirements, specifications, design artefacts, and test documentation.
  • Support System‑level design reviews and customer presentations.
  • Lead systems work packages delivering to time, cost, and quality.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to capability development.
  • Provide technical leadership and influence multidisciplinary design decisions.
  • Produce engineering estimates, identifying dependencies, assumptions, and risks.

Security Requirements

This role requires you to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard Check (BPSS) as a minimum. Some roles may require further national security vetting checks. Candidates will be asked to provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in the UK and employment and/or education history for up to three years. Some vacancies may require full Security Clearance, which may require further evidence to be provided.
