Ultra Challenge® delivers a series of accessible endurance events across the UK, spanning coastal paths, national parks, and historic city routes. With 19 events offering multiple distances and paces, participants benefit from comprehensive support including rest stops, catering, medical teams, and massage services. Role Description

The Key Client Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater London, responsible for managing and growing relationships with major charity, corporate, and partner accounts across the Ultra Challenge® series. This role oversees day-to-day account management, including onboarding new partners and corporate groups, coordinating bespoke event packages, and ensuring smooth delivery of promised services such as hospitality, branding, and registration pages. The position involves monitoring account performance, preparing regular reports and forecasts, and using data to identify opportunities to increase participation, fundraising, and client satisfaction. The Key Client Account Manager will collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and event delivery teams to align client campaigns with event schedules and capacities. The role also includes attending events, meeting key stakeholders on-site, gathering feedback, and proactively resolving any issues to ensure long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Strong Account Management and Key Accounts skills, with experience owning and growing relationships with high-value clients or partners.
  • Proficient Analytical Skills and Business Planning abilities to interpret performance data, forecast growth, and develop account plans.
  • Proven Customer Service capabilities, with a focus on responsiveness, clear communication, and delivering a high-quality client experience.
  • Experience working with charities, corporate partners, or sponsorships in events, sports, or fundraising environments is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present proposals and performance updates to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Comfortable working on-site at events, including occasional evenings or weekends, and building relationships face-to-face.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject matter.

Package

Salary dependent upon experience - up to £38,000 + opportunity for overtime and additional days in lieu through working on events. Office based, 5 days a week, Woolwich SE London.
