Ultra Challenge® organizes a dynamic series of 19 outdoor events across breathtaking locations, from coastal trails to national parks and historic city walks. These events are designed for participants of all levels, offering flexible distances, fully supported routes, and opportunities to fundraise for charities. In 2025, the Series raised £12 million for good causes and is on track to surpass this achievement in 2026. Ultra Challenge® focuses on fostering a sense of community, accomplishment, and inclusion, providing a unique experience for individuals, charities, and organizations alike.

We are seeking a Graduate Trainee Event Co-Ordinator for a full-time, on-site position based in Woolwich, SE London. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with event planning and management
  • Liaising with vendors and sponsors
  • Coordinating logistics
  • Supporting set-up and execution of events
  • Direct communication with participants
  • Managing customer inquiries
  • Helping to promote events by providing sales support where required

This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event coordination while contributing to the success of impactful events.

Qualifications:

  • Degree level education in a related field
  • Event Planning and Event Management experience to coordinate and execute events successfully
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with participants, partners, and colleagues
  • Sales experience or skills to support event promotions and participant registrations as needed
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Enthusiasm for outdoor events and a passion for engaging with diverse groups of people
